Bandra's new Japanese restaurant, Kuuraku, offers an immersive escape from the bustling city life. As soon as guests enter, they are greeted with a serene atmosphere, starting with removing shoes and placing them in lockers, each with a keychain to retrieve them later.

Inside, Kuuraku's interior is a blend of charm and tranquillity. The tatami-style seating,

arranged on two levels adds to the intimate ambience. On one side, glossy blue fabric advertises premium-quality yakitori, while a cosy private dining area sits elevated above the main room.

A central glass-walled kitchen, illuminated by tube lights, showcases the culinary artistry of the chefs as they prepare dishes like skewers and sushi.

Despite being part of a global restaurant chain, Kuuraku maintains the essence of a traditional Japanese izakaya which means Stay-drink-place, evoking a sense of authenticity and intimacy.

This is a testament to its commitment to providing an immersive dining experience that transports guests to the streets of Japan, even amidst the cosmopolitan setting of Bandra.
