Vrindavan is a holy and attractive place in India, the birthplace of Lord Krishna specifically at the Shri Bankey Bihari Temple, where people celebrate Phoolo Wali Holi, a unique and traditional pre-Holi celebration with powdered colours, Phoolo wali Holi with thousands of organic flower petals. The temple, located in the heart of Brajbhoomi, becomes a spectacle of vibrant colours a few days before Holi.

The temples are adorned in vibrant orange, bright yellow, and deep red hues from various flowers like roses, lotuses, and marigolds. Its devotees and visitors are showered with these colourful petals, creating a magical and picturesque scene.

The timing of phoolon wali Holi coincides with spring's arrival, bringing forth an abundance of fresh blooms. As devotees gather at the Banke Bihari Temple, priests conduct the ceremony by showering petals on everyone present. This floral shower lasts about 15-20 minutes, filling the air with fragrant flowers and joyful chants.
